We have written a number of briefs and made two in-person presentations to federal committees. At the request of the Standing Committee on The Status of Women (FEWO) Gerda Kaegi presented a brief for its study Women and Pension Security. The second presentation was the Presentation on Poverty to the Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities.

We submitted a pre-budget brief to the Ontario government. We sent a response to the Provincial Expert Commission on Pensions regarding its report A Very Good Balance. We developed a position statement on Planning for Retirement Incomes in Canada : Ensuring Income Security for Older Adult Persons.

In addition, Ms. Kaegi was a panelist at two community meetings, one on poverty, the other on pensions.
